Venkatesh’s Narappa Announces Its OTT Release on Amazon Prime From July 20
Narappa, Telugu Remake of 2019 Tamil Blockbuster Asuran, starring Venkatesh in the lead role will directly release in an OTT platform, The makers on Monday announced that Narappa will stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 20.
Narappa is directed by director Srikanth Addala, who predominantly known for helming family entertainers. Venkatesh will be seen playing Narappa which was originally played by Dhanush, While Priyamani will be seen as Sundaramma reprising the role of Manju Warrier in original. The film also stars Rao Ramesh, Karthik Ratnam , Rajeev Kanakala and others playing important roles.
Sharing the same , venkatesh requested all his fans and well wishers “Your love towards this film has been overwhelming for me and the team, who always ensured to go an extra mile just like Narappa,” the ‘Drushyam 2’ actor added. “We believe that this love will keep growing until the film will be all yours…Watch it with your near and dear ones at the comfort and safety of your home,” he added in twitter.
One of the film producers, D Suresh Babu said, “It is an extremely stimulating and enriching experience to work with such talented stars and a highly creative crew. The story of Narappa is not only close to my heart but also narrates a social commentary on the system as a whole and this is our attempt to breathe life into this story.” The film is being produced by D.Suresh babu and Kalaipuli s. Thanu.
