Andhra Pradesh Government decided to continue Night Curfew For Another Week

Andhra Pradesh government had took a decision to continue the night curfew for yet another week as part of restrictions from 10pm to 6am. And the Andhra Pradesh government has said that all COVID-19 Restrictions will be strictly followed. the decision took by Andhra Pradesh government after conducting review meeting on COVID-19 Covened by C.M Jagan Mohan Reddy.

And C.M has informed that most number of the people have been vaccinated in Andhra Pradesh. And the officials were asked to continue to focus on vaccination. And he also said that priority should be given to the teachers so that they can completely vaccinated before schools reopening, Said in the Meeting.

And the Officials had Informed to the C.M that nearly 35 lakh vaccine doses were given to private hospitals since May 2021, the consumption was 4,63,590 doses only.in this scenario , Andhra Pradesh Government had decided to appeal to central government to allocate those doses to the government. And C.M has restated the importance of vaccination is the only way to fight forward against COVID-19.

So far, the Andhra Pradesh government had received 1,80,82,390 vaccine doses, of which 8,65,500 doses are yet to be received. As of now, a total of 1,82,49,851 vaccine doses have been administered. The A.P government had said that nearly 11 lakh doses were saved from wastage thanks to well organized management system in place. All mothers with children under the age of five are 100 percent vaccinated and 31,796 people who are travelling abroad have also been vaccinated.

The C.M has also directed the officials to brace up for the possible third wave. Authorities were instructed to be ready with an action plan, particularly considering the treatment for children. Officials have been instructed to speedup the works of Pediatric Hospitals at Vijayawada ,Tirupati and Visakhapatnam . Also, the officials informed the C.M that there were 24,708 active cases in Andhra Pradesh.
