Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hoisted the National Flag at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada. He extended wishes to the countrymen on the occasion of 74th Independence Day and paid tributes to the leaders who sacrificed their lives.
During this time everyone got to see a different enthusiasm. Before hoisting the national flag, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated the countrymen on Independence Day on Twitter. In the message he gave in his congratulations, he also said, ‘Our country needs to uphold its values. Let’s pledge to protect the country’s reputation… contribute to its progress. Jai Hind!’ During this time, tableaux were displayed which was excellent. The steps taken by the government to control the corona have been mentioned in these tableaux.
CM Jagan Mohan Reddy explained his government’s welfare schemes implementing in the state. The Constitution had provided social and economic security to the people of the country. We should not limit the equality only to books but should practice it in real life, said YS Jagan.

The state government is implementing welfare schemes irrespective of caste, religion and party. With an aim to improve the quality of education, english medium has been introduced in public schools across the state. YSRCP government is providing financial assistance to farmer through Rythu Bharosa. The state government is providing 30 lakh houses to poor. We have choosen the decentralisation of governance with an aim for equal and all round development of state, by enacting Three Capitals Bill into law. Visakhapatnam will be soon developed as executive capital.
