Jana Sena Party Entered Alliance with BJP In Andhra Pradesh

Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party has entered into an alliance with the BJP in Andhra Pradesh and the two parties would be fighting all upcoming elections together, with an eye on capturing the southern state in 2024 Elections.

The announcement was made by Actor-Politician Pawan Kalyan in presence of BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao. Pawan Kalyan said Andhra Pradesh people were tired of the kind of governance provided by TDP and the YSRC party.

“They want a third alternative. BJP-JSP are going to give that alternative to the people. We will work together for achieving power in 2024,” Pawan Kalyan said.

The BJP in-charge for the state Sunil Deodhar called the alliance a “historic day” and said that the two parties will fight together to “end political casteism, political dynasty raj and corruption” in the Andhra Pradesh state.

“In a short period of time, Jagan Mohan Reddy government has failed and so did Chandrababu Naidu. And there is no question of any alliance of the BJP with Telugu Desam or with YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh state,” declared the BJP in charge for Andhra Pradesh, putting to rest some speculation doing the rounds.

BJP leader Lanka Dinakaran said the party welcomes the Pawan Kalyan’s decision to work along with BJP in the interest of Andhra Pradesh state and nation.

He accused both TDP and YSRC party of encouraging “dynastic politics and corrupt practices”.

“We will fight against Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government’s anti-people decisions and proposals like three capitals for Andhra Pradesh. We will have a common minimum programme with JSP,” he said.

Telugu Desam Party, which was part of previous BJP-led government, had pulled out of it in March 2018.
